First Aid & CPR Training

Develop the essential knowledge and practical skills required to provide immediate first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) during common medical emergencies and injuries. Our First Aid & CPR Training introduces learners to emergency assessment, basic first aid, CPR, automated external defibrillator (AED) use, choking management and appropriate responses to a range of emergency situations.

Through structured instruction, demonstrations and hands-on practice, participants develop the confidence and practical skills needed to recognise emergencies, provide appropriate initial care and support an ill or injured person until professional medical assistance becomes available.

First Aid & CPR Training – Course Overview

First Aid & CPR Training provides learners with the essential knowledge and practical skills required to recognise and respond appropriately to common injuries, sudden illnesses and life-threatening emergencies.

The programme introduces the fundamental principles of first aid, including scene safety, casualty assessment, activation of emergency medical services and the provision of immediate care while awaiting professional medical assistance.

Learners are introduced to appropriate first-aid responses for bleeding, wounds, burns, fractures, sprains, choking, shock and selected medical emergencies, together with cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and the safe use of an automated external defibrillator (AED).

Through instructor-led demonstrations, guided hands-on practice and realistic emergency scenarios, participants develop the ability to assess casualties, prioritise immediate needs and provide appropriate first-aid interventions.

The training emphasises personal safety, early recognition of emergencies, effective communication, appropriate use of first-aid equipment and confident action within the limits of the responder's training.
