Qualification Structure

The programme carries a total of 120 credits, with 1,200 hours Total Qualification Time (TQT) and 600 Guided Learning Hours (GLH).

5. Leading Change in Health and Social Care — 20 Credits
Explores the leadership and management of organisational change within health and social care.
6. Research Methods for Healthcare Professionals — 20 Credits
Develops the research knowledge and skills required to investigate issues relevant to healthcare professional practice.

Entry Requirements
Applicants wishing to enrol on the OTHM Level 7 Diploma in Health and Social Care Management should normally meet the following entry requirements:
✓ Hold an honours degree in a related subject, a UK Level 6 qualification, or an equivalent overseas qualification
✓ Mature learners with relevant management experience may also be considered
✓ Applicants must be 21 years of age or older at the beginning of the course
✓ Learners must have sufficient English language ability to undertake study at Level 7
